New European Bauhaus (NEB)
The New European Bauhaus (NEB) is a European Commission initiative that brings together sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion to make the green transition in the built environment appealing and human-centred. NEB brings together residents, creators, institutions, and organisations, inviting them to rethink how we design and live in our cities, towns, and communities. NAI is the official NEB contact point in Lithuania – it coordinates the initiative’s outreach and implementation, supports the application of NEB principles in architecture, urban planning, design, and culture, connects partners, and ensures community involvement.
NEB supports cities and communities by helping to:
- 01 Revitalise abandoned buildings and spaces.
- 02 Bring nature back into cities.
- 03 Create new green jobs.
- 04 Strengthen local identity and community ties.
